At CIY.Club coders can join our weekly clubs and begin their journey to becoming a creative genius or alternatively, sign-up for one of our full-day school holiday camps to get a taste of what technology is all about. If you already know you love coding or other exciting areas of tech, jump straight into our after-school clubs, if you aren’t sure, try it out at a school holiday camp and see what you think!
Camps are a one-day (6 hours) opportunity for you to try coding to see if you like it. We have one-day camps in Game Making, 3D Printing and Website Creation. You can choose one or all
Our CIY clubs are where children come along and learn with other like-minded children to collaborate projects and create at their own pace. Much like a karate club, everybody trains together and all coders help each other to level up, similar to earning their next ‘belt’ in Karate. Coders achievements are recorded constantly as they journey through a structured set of tasks that increasingly get more challenging as learners ‘level-up’. Coders can achieve at their own pace, work with a friend, individually or in a team all with the constant support, guidance and expertise provided by our highly trained Coaches. As Coders journey through the levels, they choose your pathway. Do you pursue App making? Robotics? Electronics? 3D Printing? Or maybe, learn about them all! The beauty about CIY.Club is that it’s completely up to you!
There is no finish line just continual achievement and projects to be delivered – come to CIY.Club as long as you love it!
After school clubs are booked in blocks of 5 to 10 – usually a one-hour on a weekday afternoon or Saturday morning across a school term.
Full day CIY.Club sessions may also be available throughout the school holidays.
Learn the foundations underlying some of todays most exciting areas of Technology! From Game Coding and Website Development, to 3D printing, Robotics or App Design, Coders are encouraged to follow their interests and embark on a journey which will see them Learn, Train and Master skills for the future. Ages: 7 – 17
Learn the basics of computer coding and game creation. We teach you how to make your very first computer game, and in just one day you will be able to put together a few different games including graphics and basic coding to make it interactive. You can take your games home and continue to develop them. Game Coding Camps are for beginners and intermediate Coders alike, with content suitable for attendees to learn the foundations and design different games.
Ages 7 – 17
Learn the basics of three dimensional design. Coders get an exciting opportunity to experience a new technology that is changing the way we view, imagine and interact with the world around us. With the ability to now print using over 250 materials, things like toys, houses, food, jewellery, cars, clothing, prosthetics and even jet engines are now in reach of our creative fingertips! We show you how to move and stretch shapes into bigger more complex objects. With a few tricks and tips, you will be creating amazing 3D things in just one day!
Ages 7 – 17
Imagine being able to design, create and customise your very own website using this excellent introductory day camp! Learn the basics of website coding. We teach you how to code a website from scratch. You will be able to make your very own custom website and you will be able to load it in a browser. Code your own colours, images and menus whilst being introduced to the basics of website coding using HTML and CSS. You can take your website home and continue to develop it.
Ages 7 – 17
For Existing Minecraft Players
Learn to code with Minecraft! Programming is power, get a head start in life by developing invaluable skills in coding with Minecraft. Bring your account along to our camp sessions and our team of coaches will show you how to use Java to control a Minecraft server, build mods and design your own games. You can even take the license home and is valid for 1 week (7 days) from initial camp day.

Please be aware that all coders attending the CIY.Club Minecraft Modding Camp MUST have an existing personal Minecraft (PC/Mac) account. Coders must have this in order to participate in the camp. Please note: a Minecraft account on a mobile device or playstation is NOT a PC or Mac account
